Is It Too Late? 2/6/22

A lot of people ask me if it's "too late" for them. Whether they are talking about changing jobs, finding love, pursuing something they're curious about, reinventing themselves in some way ... my answer is almost always "No." 

It's not too late. With every breath you take, you may choose to continue in the old way or take a new path. That's true whether you are 6 years old or 106 years old. 

The losses and sorrows we move through, the setbacks and obstacles we experience, aren't enough to stop us unless that is our choice. In my own life, I've found myself in a place where I am consciously choosing to make some big positive changes ... and I couldn't make those changes without the benefit of the extremely difficult experiences of the last year.

My prayer for you is that you consider all the ways in which it may not be "too late" for you. What sparks your curiosity? What brings you joy? Take a small step toward that today. Nothing happens all at once, but that small step may help you remember the power and potential and grace you carry within you.
