Out of the Fog Minute

Interruptions: 9/11/18

In this audio message (recorded quickly between interruptions), I talk about how reframing the idea of interruption can help us focus on what is really important. When we're engaged in something that's in alignment with our path, an interruption is a momentary pause before we go back to what we were doing. When we're engaged in something that's out of alignment, an interruption can be a wake-up call to re-focus on something else.

My prayer for you this week is that you experiment with treating interruptions as a gift, as a lense through which you can see yourself and your path in a new Light.

Meteor Shower: 8/15/18

Cool Blue Sea: 7/19/18

Summer in Michigan is hot, and it makes me cranky! In this audio, I share details of two beautiful touchstone images that I use to help me keep my cool and regain balance. One of them is a photograph of a cool, blue sea sent to me by a friend as she was traveling through Mexico. The clarity of the water and the bright color immediately take me to a more peaceful place.

We're living in noisy, polarizing times. When there's so much going on, it can be easy to miss the simple tools that help us return to center. Beautiful images, a smooth stone, a special crystal or shell can all be used to remind us to slow down and breathe.

My prayer for you is that you stop to use the peace-enhancing images, objects, and tools that are all around you. We don't have to be distracted by heat, noise, or shouting.

Fireflies: 7/5/18

I'm healing wonderfully well from surgery, and I'm so grateful for the love and support you all are sending my way. In this audio, you'll hear how my impatience with my returning vision was gently countered by my experience with some fireflies. 

You'll also learn about the upcoming online psychic development intensive, which begins July 11, as well as the next online gallery reading (Sat. 7/14). 

My prayer for you is that you allow yourself to be open to seeing fireflies. They appear as unexpected reminders of light in the darkness, just as Spirit sends Light into the darkness we encounter on our spiritual journey. May you be reminded in the most gentle and surprising way that you are loved!

Plot Twist Update! 6/5/18

Thank you so much for your support and love as I moved through that scary surgery! In a four-hour-long procedure, the surgeon and her team were able to completely remove the tumor behind my left eye ... and it is benign! I am healing wonderfully well, and can't believe how quickly things are coming back into alignment. 

I wanted to express my gratitude for your presence with me on this journey. Whether we've been walking together for ten years or if we just connected last week ... thank you! 

Oh, and the June online gallery reading is this Saturday (6/9)! If you've got an intuitive question, please bring it to the circle. 

I'll check back in with you in the next ten days or so. Get ready for the launch of a new class, summer dates for the Level 1 Psychic Development Intensive, and lots more.

Plot Twist! 5/17/18

I saw this on Facebook the other day: "When something goes wrong in your life, yell 'Plot Twist!' and keep moving." 

In this audio, I share some personal health news. I'm having surgery on 5/24 to biopsy (and I hope, remove) a large tumor behind my left eye. I'll be out of the office 5/24-5/29. I should be able to return to do readings and teach classes on 5/30. My planned travel to the SF Bay Area in July will be postponed to a later date. 

Will you please keep me in your prayers? I'll be posting updates on my Facebook pages, so follow me there if you haven't already. I have a team of excellent medical specialists on my side. I am supported by powerful energy healers, and by the love and strength of this community. Thank you so much for being part of this journey!

Prepare to Receive: 2/1/18

One of wisest things we can do when setting an intention is to prepare to receive the good we intend for ourselves. That might be as simple as leaving a little gift to find later or setting out your journal and pen the night before so that it's ready in the morning.  

This small action ... preparing to receive ... amplifies our intentions. It also reminds us to move forward with love and compassion for ourselves, no matter what challenges we are facing.
